Frequently asked questions

Straight answers before pickup.

Pricing, photos, stairs, timing, and service areas—start here, then send us the job details when you are ready.

How does pricing work?+

Pricing depends on the amount and type of material, the labor needed, access conditions, and location. Use the online estimator for a planning range, then send photos for review.

Is the instant estimate the final price?+

No. The online result is a provisional range based on the information you enter. We review the job details and confirm the scope before scheduling.

What should my photos show?+

Take one wide photo of the full pile and closer photos of bulky or unusual items. Include stairs, narrow hallways, or other access issues when they affect the pickup.

Do I have to move the items outside?+

Usually, no. Tell us where the items are located and describe stairs, elevators, long carries, loading rules, or parking restrictions so the work can be planned correctly.

What items can you remove?+

We handle most non-hazardous household, office, and property cleanout items, including furniture and many appliances. Restricted or unusually heavy items require review.

Do you take paint or chemicals?+

Do not assume hazardous materials can be loaded. List paints, chemicals, fuel, medical waste, or similar materials separately so we can tell you what is allowed.

Can I request same-day service?+

Yes, you can request it. Same-day availability depends on the ZIP code, job size, access, and open route capacity, so it is not guaranteed.

Can you provide a Certificate of Insurance?+

A Certificate of Insurance is available for buildings that require one. Request it before scheduling and send the building’s exact certificate instructions and required wording.

What payment methods do you accept?+

JunkLift accepts credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers. The accepted method and payment timing are confirmed with your written quote or invoice.

What are your business hours?+

JunkLift is available daily, 9:30 am–6:00 pm. You can call (718) 285-7324 or submit the online estimate form.

Which areas do you serve?+

JunkLift serves all five NYC boroughs and Nassau County. Other Long Island locations are confirmed by ZIP code and current availability.

What access details should I include?+

Tell us the floor, stair count, elevator availability, loading windows, parking situation, gate or doorman instructions, and whether any items need disassembly.

How will you contact me?+

We use the email address and phone number you provide with your estimate request to follow up about the job. You can also call (718) 285-7324 or email junkliftnyc@gmail.com.
