1. Website estimates are planning ranges
Any instant estimate or price range shown on the website is preliminary and is based only on the information entered. It is not a final offer or guaranteed price. Final pricing depends on the complete item list, material type, volume, weight, labor, stairs or elevator access, disassembly, loading distance, parking conditions, special handling, disposal requirements, and other job details.
2. Written quote and scope
A job is scheduled only after JunkLift reviews the request and the parties agree to the scope, service date, and price or pricing method. If the actual items, quantity, weight, access, or conditions differ from what was disclosed, JunkLift may revise the price, modify the work plan, or decline items before loading begins.
3. Customer responsibilities
The customer must provide accurate information, lawful access, safe working conditions, and authority to approve removal of every item. Clearly separate anything that must remain. Remove cash, jewelry, documents, medication, electronics containing sensitive data, and other valuables before the crew begins. The customer is responsible for building permissions, elevator reservations, loading instructions, parking arrangements, and required management approvals unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Restricted and hazardous items
Do not include hazardous, illegal, explosive, infectious, radioactive, or regulated material unless JunkLift expressly accepts it in writing. Examples that require advance review include fuel, chemicals, paint, solvents, compressed-gas cylinders, medical waste, asbestos-containing material, batteries, pesticides, ammunition, and unknown liquids. JunkLift may refuse any item that cannot be transported or handled safely or lawfully.
5. Access and service conditions
The customer must disclose stairs, elevator limitations, narrow doors, long carries, unsafe floors, pests, construction conditions, or other hazards. JunkLift may pause or decline work when conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, materially different from the request, or likely to damage property without additional preparation.
6. Scheduling, changes, and cancellations
Requested dates and same-day service are not guaranteed until confirmed. Arrival windows may be affected by traffic, building access, weather, route conditions, or prior jobs. Any deposit, rescheduling, cancellation, waiting-time, or missed-appointment terms that apply to a job will be stated in the written quote, invoice, or booking confirmation.
7. Payment
JunkLift accepts credit cards, debit cards, and ACH bank transfers. Payment amount and timing are stated in the written quote or invoice. Customers authorize charges they approve and are responsible for applicable taxes, approved add-ons, and disclosed fees. Payment disputes should be reported promptly so the records can be reviewed.
8. Certificate of Insurance
A Certificate of Insurance may be available when required by a building or property manager. Requests must be made in advance with the exact certificate holder, additional insured, wording, and delivery instructions. Availability of a COI does not replace the customer’s responsibility to obtain building approval or disclose site conditions.
9. Property condition and claims
Customers should identify fragile surfaces, existing damage, tight clearances, and special protection requirements before work begins. Any concern about property damage or missing items should be reported promptly in writing with supporting photos and appointment details so it can be reviewed. Nothing in these terms limits rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be limited.
10. Website use
You may use this website to learn about services and submit legitimate requests. Do not misuse forms, upload harmful or unlawful material, interfere with the site, attempt unauthorized access, or copy website content in a way that violates applicable law.
11. Privacy
Use of personal information submitted through the website is described in the Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without overriding consumer protections that apply by law. JunkLift may update these terms as its services or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
