Plan for tight interior turns

Rowhouse halls and stair landings can be narrower than the rooms where furniture sits. Show the full exit path for sofas, wardrobes, tables, and appliances.

Note railings, doors, or furniture parts that may require careful disassembly.

  • Measure unusually large pieces
  • Photograph sharp turns
  • Remove small obstacles
  • Keep items that stay clearly marked

Describe the block and loading distance

Alternate-side parking, bus routes, bike lanes, and narrow residential blocks may limit the loading position. Explain whether the entrance is close to the curb or reached through a long courtyard.

The distance matters even when the junk volume is small.
